Skilled Construction Laborer Responsibilities - Perform tile installation on floors, walls, and other surfaces.
- Measure, cut, lay, and finish tile according to project specifications.
- Hang, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall .
- Complete carpentry projects, including framing, trim work, and door installation .
- Perform general construction, remodeling, and renovation work.
- Assist with demolition and jobsite preparation.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials as needed.
- Accurately measure materials using a tape measure.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment .
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
- Follow construction plans, supervisor instructions, and project specifications.
- Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
- Work independently and alongside other skilled construction team members.
Skilled Construction Laborer Qualifications - Previous construction experience required .
- Hands-on experience with tile installation, drywall finishing, and carpentry .
- Experience with framing, trim work, doors, remodeling, or renovations is preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Experience using common construction hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical construction work throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a construction crew.
