Description: Blueline Security Services is seeking dedicated, professional, and licensed (or have the ability to be licensed) Security Officers/ Guards in DC Maryland and Virginia. These positions cover a wide range of posts and duties to include; property protection, theft deterrence, observing/ reporting in apartment complexes, retail stores, mailing facilities, and many more.

Shift Info: We have 4 stores in the Georgetown area, who all require a professional unarmed security presence. Three of these stores need security 7 days a week during their retail hours, and one location requires coverage for Friday-Sunday.
- Location: Georgetown, Washington D.C. 20007.
- Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour.
- Shifts: Retail hours, Mornings to Evenings.
- Days: Stores are open 7 days a week.
- Part-time and Full-time positions available.
Duties: - Observe and report to deter unwanted behavior.
- Make and keep detailed notes of events throughout the shift.
- Contact Emergency Services in an emergency situation.
- Address client staff's security needs.
- Work alongside a dispatch center and execute dispatch orders.
Basic Requirements: - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- No prior experience is required; we will provide all necessary training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for armed positions).
Core Skills : - Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with the public.
- Must be an active listener with excellent problem-solving skills. Able to quickly and accurately assess and evaluate situations.
- Must have excellent conflict resolution skills with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
- We're looking for someone who is reliable and able to adapt to different assignments.
- You should be comfortable operating radio or telephone equipment and console monitors.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to write clearly and accurately are also essential.
Conditions of Employment: - All applicants must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all applicable laws.
- A valid driver's license may be required if operating a company or customer-owned vehicle.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
