Job Description:This position will be on 3rd shift, hours are Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 7amMake machine adjustments, including heat, pressures, and cycle times for wide range of plastic engineering materials to ensure proper quality and function of partsSet up and adjust auxiliary equipment, and robots to achieve proper assembly, product containment, and product packagingEnsure part/material containment measures are implementedTroubleshoot molding problemsSolve process problems such as flash, short shots, quality of partsConduct Root Cause Analysis of factors affecting overall product qualityIdentify Continuous Improvement ideas associated within daily duties and overall cell performanceInstallation and removal of molds in the injection molding machineResponsible for part quality associated to their set up and processing parametersContinuous Improvement and 5S adherenceUse personal computer, dial/digital calipers, gauges, hand tools, hand/power lift trucks, and overhead cranesFollow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly conditionOther tasks and duties as assignedITW is an equal opportunity employer.
